It is in homage to this matriarch that the name Casas da Luz emerges.Between 2020 and 2023, this space of memories and tradition composed of the main house and the annexed buildings underwent refurbishment and expansion works, with special care taken in the conservation of the various elements that characterise traditional Madeiran houses, including the stone walls and the wine press, where wine is still produced annually.Divided into three welcoming units, each designed to provide maximum comfort and privacy: the Mother's House, divided into two floors, offers three spacious bedrooms; the Latada House located on the upper floor composed of two bedrooms and the Pedreira House, located on the ground floor, has a spacious bedroom.At Casa da Latada you will find a fantastic T2, renovated and furnished with a contemporary taste while safeguarding the excellent materials present from its origin.The accommodation offers a comfortable living room and a fully equipped kitchen in an "open space" layout.
